Research Computing

This is a quickstart guide for getting connecting to uAlbany’s rearch computing and accessing the InfoEco storage drive.

Accessing Computing¶

• VPN Access is necessary for connecting from outside the uAlbany network.

• SSH Access is for connecting to the research computers.

Scheduling Jobs¶

• Slurm is the research computing scheduling program, used for requesting additional CPU or GPU processing and additional memory.
